KEY REFORM UK POLICIES
• IMMIGRATION: Reform UK will secure Britain’s borders to boost wages, protect our public services and restore British culture and values. We will raise the National Insurance rate for foreign workers to 20%, incentivising businesses to employ British citizens.

• SLASH GOVERNMENT WASTE: Reform UK will slash wasteful spending to increase funding for frontline public services and reduce taxes for working people. We will make sure taxpayers’ money is never wasted.

• ECONOMY – PERSONAL: Reform UK will make work pay and help the unemployed to escape the benefits trap. We will lift the income tax threshold to £20,000 to save the lowest-paid £1,500 per year.
We will scrap Net Zero and energy levies to slash energy bills and save each household £500 per year. We will lower fuel duty by 20p per litre and scrap VAT on energy bills. We will abolish inheritance tax for all estates under £2million (98% of all estates).

• ECONOMY – BUSINESS: Reform UK will back risk-takers and wealth-creators and make sure that Britain is open for business.
We will free over 1.2 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Corporation Tax. We will lift the VAT threshold to £150,000 and free up small entrepreneurs from red tape.
We will abolish business rates for high street-based SMEs and offset this with an Online Delivery Tax at 4% for large, multinational enterprises to create a fairer playing field for high streets.

• THE NHS: Reform UK will reform healthcare to improve outcomes, putting patients first and working towards zero NHS waiting lists. We will cut office waste to spend more money on the frontline, and
provide tax breaks for doctors and nurses to tackle the staffing crisis. We will create an NHS to be proud of again.
NHS pledges costs: £17 billion pa
• NET ZERO: Current energy policies, particularly those aimed at achieving Net Zero, are scientifically illiterate and economically disastrous and constitute a significant act of national self-harm.
Reform UK will scrap Net Zero and related subsidies, encouraging the supply of cheap, secure energy to cut bills and restore growth, while investing in new technology for the provision of cleaner energy.

• POLICING: Reform UK will restore law and order on Britain’s streets and make sure that criminals face justice.
We will increase frontline police numbers and clamp down on all crime and antisocial behaviour. We will de-politicise the College of Policing and prioritise crime prevention, discipline, public service and high standards of strength and fitness among trainees.
We will scrap all Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) roles and regulations, and sack Chief Constables who allow two-tier policing.

• JUSTICE: Reform UK will build a common sense justice system that punishes criminals and keeps the public safe.
We will increase the Criminal Justice budget to ensure more high calibre staff to cut delays. We will change the definition of ‘hate crime’, and expand prison capacity so that life means life for those who endanger the public. We will reform the Child Maintenance Service and tackle youth crime.
We will deport child grooming gang offenders holding dual citizenship and improve safeguarding of victims and the vulnerable.
Justice pledges costs: £2 billion pa
• EDUCATION: Reform UK wants an education system that ensures young people are proud of Britain and learn the skills, character and values to succeed in life.
We will introduce a balanced and patriotic curriculum in primary and secondary schools. We will provide tax relief for independent educa tion for those who can afford it, which eases pressure on state schools and improves education for all. We will ban transgender ideology.
We will restrict student numbers to well below current levels and enforce minimum entry standards. We will scrap interest on student loans, and cut funding to universities that undermine free speech.

• BENEFITS: Reform UK will ensure that those in Britain who can work do work.
We will make work pay by increasing the income tax threshold to £20,000.
We will help up to 2 million people back to work through reforms to benefits support and training and providing business tax relief for apprenticeships. All job seekers and those fit to work must find employment within 4 months or accept a job after two offers, otherwise benefits will be withdrawn.
For Personal Independence Payment and Work Capability Assessment, we will require face to face assessments and medical proof of eligibility for payment. Those registered with severe disabilities or serious long term illnesses would be exempt from regular checks.

• BREXIT: Reform UK will do what the Tories have failed to – grasp the huge opportunities of Brexit.
We will legislate to scrap EU regulations with immediate effect, including those relating to competition and Net Zero. We will abandon the Windsor Framework, and work for independence for Britain’s Armed Forces from the EU Horizon programme.
• DEFENCE: Reform UK will ensure our servicemen and women have the resources they need to defend our nation and that they are respected and supported after they leave the services.
We will increase basic pay across our Armed Forces, introduce a new Armed Forces Justice Bill, and create a dedicated ministerial department for veterans. We will regenerate Britain’s defence
manufacturing and technology.
Defence pledges costs: £14 billion pa
• HOUSING: Reform UK will ensure that people can own their own home by encouraging provision of affordable houses across the country and by cutting immigration.
We will reform the social housing law to prioritise local people and those who have paid into the system. We will scrap section 24 for landlords, abolish the Renters (Reform) Bill, and provide improved protection for leaseholders.

• CHILDREN AND FAMILIES: Reform UK believes that strong families are the bedrock of a thriving society. We will support family formation and give parents back control.
We will support marriage through the tax system and provide support for stay-at-home parents. We will promote child-friendly app restricted smartphones, launch an enquiry into social media harms, and review the Online Safety Bill.

• TRANSPORT AND UTILITIES INFRASTRUCTURE: The scandal of our crumbling infrastructure must end. Reform UK will take a pragmatic approach to getting Britain’s infrastructure back on its feet and keeping it secure from foreign threats.
We will scrap HS2.
We will stop the war on drivers. We will legislate to ban ULEZ and Low Traffic Neighbourhoods. We will keep the speed limit low where safety is critical, otherwise scrap 20mph zones. Dropping Net Zero means no more bans on petrol and diesel cars and no legal requirements for manufacturers to sell electric cars.
We will introduce tighter regulation and a new ownership model for critical national infrastructure such as utilities. We will simplify the funding process for infrastructure projects, to save time, cut waste and boost funding and accountability.
Transport and Infrastructure pledges costs: £25 billion one-off, £5 billion per year over first 5 years
• AGRICULTURE: Reform UK will revitalise Britain’s agriculture to give a much-needed boost to our farmers and guarantee the country’s food security.
We will increase the farming budget to £3 billion and scrap climate related farming subsidies. We will cut red tape for farmers and protect country sports. We will stop supermarket price fixing and help farmers to sell their products direct to the public.
We will boost smaller food processors and abattoirs through tax breaks and other incentives. We will have a target of 70% for food security and require taxpayer-funded organisations to source 75% of their food from the UK.

• FISHING AND COASTAL COMMUNITIES: Reform UK will renew our fishing industry and revive our coastal communities.
We will stop EU fishers taking UK quotas, ban foreign supertrawlers from UK waters and police Britain’s 200 mile Exclusive Economic Zone properly. We will rebuild UK fish processing, revitalise the UK’s fishing fleet, and include fishing communities in policy making.

• PENSIONS AND SOCIAL CARE: Reform UK will ensure that our elderly people can live with dignity, through long-term reforms funded by a growing economy.
We will create a national plan for a sustainable social care system, one with flexibility and less waste. We will simplify social care through a single funding stream instead of the current split between the NHS and local authorities.
We will stop the offshore tax avoidance of some larger care home providers, renew pension provision, and end the Mineworkers Pension Scheme scandal. Reform UK will treat our elderly with the respect they deserve.
• CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM: Reform UK will make Britain a fully sovereign nation. We will end the corruption of our government and politics by an out-of-touch, London-centric elite to make Britain a more democratic, accountable and prosperous nation.
We will leave the European Convention on Human Rights and reform the House of Lords and Civil Service. We will reform the postal voting system and hold a referendum on proportional representation.
We will introduce a British Bill of Rights. Our freedoms must be codified and guaranteed, our data and privacy must be protected, and surveillance of the public must be limited and those monitoring us held to account.
Constitutional Reform pledges: £ Neutral
• RECLAIMING BRITAIN: Reform UK will uphold British values and legislate against extremist forces that seek to undermine our way of life.
We will reject the influence of the World Economic Forum and the World Health Organisation (WHO) Pandemic Treaty. We will cancel our membership of the WHO unless there is fundamental reform to its structure and funding. We oppose the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and a cashless society.
We will replace the 2010 Equalities Act and scrap DEI rules that have lowered standards and reduced economic productivity.
We will propose a comprehensive Free Speech Bill and legislate to stop political bias in public institutions. We will reform the BBC and scrap the licence fee. We will launch an Anti-Corruption Unit in Westminster and ensure that public officials face sanctions if they break the rules, including prison.
We will make St George’s and St David’s Day a Public Holiday. English national identity should be officially promoted and celebrated, not ignored or banned.
